Structural Hat Channel
Structural hat channel, also known as furring channel, is most often used for metal framing applications. Our structural hat channel has a G90 galvanized metal coating for maximum anti-corrosion protection, is resistant to fire and completely safe from termites. Hat channel is an excellent alternative to wood framing and is stronger, more durable and easier to install, and is perfectly straight to start out with.
APPLICATION: Roof Framing, Wall/Ceiling Framing

Painted Hat Channel
For more decorative applications, our hat channel is also available in all Koop Sheet Metal colors. Painted hat channel is an elegant and durable alternative to chain link or wooden fencing. Also available with picket tips, painted hat channel makes for an attractive upgrade from the traditional wooden picket fence.
